Soaps for hygienic and surgical disinfection: Include formule precum CHDG Soap (with 4% chlorhexidine and a residual effect 3 hours after application), Klinoderm antimicrobial soap (fragrance-free) and Klintensiv PVP Iodine Soap (based on povidone-iodine complex, ideal for surgical handwashing and preoperative decolonisation). These products are dermatologically tested, and some formulas are effective even against resistant microorganisms such as MRSA, Enterococcus faecium, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Acinetobacter baumannii or Candida auris.

What is the difference between the two chlorhexidine soaps?

The main difference between the two chlorhexidine disinfectant soaps is the concentration of active ingredient and their intended use: Klintensiv Davera Soap (2% chlorhexidine) is intended only for hygienic cleaning and disinfection of the hands, skin and whole body, while Klintensiv CHDG Soap (4% chlorhexidine) is intended for hygienic and surgical disinfection as well as preoperative decolonisation of patients, providing a sustained residual action of at least 3 hours.
