Fast-evaporating alcohol-based formulas: Products such as the liquid solution Klinosept and the wet wipes Klinomed™ wipes (based on 85% v/v ethanol) provide fast biocidal activity and complete, residue-free drying on inert medical devices.
Hydrogen peroxide-based formulas: Lichidul Peroklin and the wipes Peroklin wipes act as ready-to-use disinfectant detergents for devices, with excellent cleaning, degreasing and disinfecting properties in areas of major biological risk (ICU, operating theatres, laboratories).
Quaternary ammonium compound-based formulas: Sterisol and Disinfectant wet wipes provide simultaneous cleaning and disinfection (2-in-1) and are compatible with delicate or clouding-prone medical devices that are sensitive to alcohol.

What types of medical instruments can be disinfected with ready-to-use products?

Klintensiv ready-to-use disinfectants for medical instruments are suitable for decontaminating instruments and medical devices in all three risk categories: critical, semi-critical and non-critical. They are compatible with a wide range, such as stainless steel surgical instruments, flexible or rigid endoscopes, ultrasound probes, dental handpieces, biopsy kits etc. Compatibility with specific materials and instrument types can be found in each product's technical data sheet.

Are there ready-to-use wipes for disinfecting medical instruments?

The Klintensiv range includes ready-to-use disinfectant wipes for medical instruments covering different levels of disinfection. Klinomed™ Wipes (based on 85% ethanol) provide intermediate-level disinfection with a contact time of 5 minutes, while Peroklin Wipes (based on hydrogen peroxide and quaternary ammonium compounds) and Disinfectant wet wipes (based on quaternary ammonium compounds) require a contact time of 60 minutes for high-level disinfection.
