Klintensiv^® Decapons acidic stripper & descaler

Effectively removes limescale, cement, rust, and solidified dirt.

Acidic solution for professional cleaning of hard, non-porous, acid-resistant surfaces. Dissolves limescale crusts, cement, plaster residues, rust, and mineral deposits. Designed for grout joints and flooring resistant to acidic solutions and for descaling water circuits (swimming pools, exchangers, condensers, heating boilers, etc.). Can also be used in the food industry (with proper rinsing after use).

Recommended uses

• Grout joints between tiles/wall tiles; linoleum, tarkett, epoxy resin flooring
• Eliminating limescale from swimming pools, condenser pipes, radiators, heating boilers, distribution circuits (Al/STAINLESS STEEL)
• Removing cement deposits from concrete mixers and plaster residues from floors
• Hard surfaces: tiles, wall tiles, ceramics, linoleum, epoxy resin

Do not use on easily corrodible materials: copper, zinc, unprotected iron.

Instructions for use

Can be used as is or diluted. Apply to corrosion-resistant surfaces using: manual applicator/brush/sponge/microfiber cloth or by immersion (plastic tub). After contact time, rinse abundantly with water.

• Limescale crusts (rapid removal): 1:10 dilution (product:water), ~1 minute contact.
• Grout joints & floor stripping (linoleum, tarkett, epoxy resin): 1:2 or as is, ~40 sec contact, then rinse.
• Water circuits (HVAC / industrial technical water): as is.
• General contact on surfaces: 3–5 minutes, then rinse. Scrubbing with a hard sponge/brush accelerates cleaning.
• Descaling condensing heating boilers & exchangers (STAINLESS STEEL/Al):

Ø  Ready-to-use solution: 15–30% v/v (depending on the level of deposits).

Ø  Example 10 L at 15% v/v: 1.5 L Decapons + 8.5 L water.

Ø  After treatment: empty the circuit and rinse with an alkaline solution for pH neutralization (100 g baking soda/10 L water, stir until dissolved), recirculate for a few minutes, then rinse with water.

Requires adequate rinsing after use. In food preparation areas, rinsing with potable water is mandatory.

Usage precautions

• Acidic product: wear gloves and eye protection; avoid splashing.
• Do not mix with other substances. (General recommendation: do not combine acidic products with bleach/hypochlorite.)
• Compatibility test on a small area before large-scale use.
• Avoid prolonged contact with metals sensitive to corrosion.

• Shelf life: 3 years from manufacture / 3 years from opening
• Storage: original container, away from prolonged exposure to light, 10–30°C
• Packaging with ≥30% recycled plastic; after use, rinse with cold water and recycle with plastics
