Klinosept este compatibil cu suprafețe din plastic, metale (vopsite sau galvanizate, zinc, crom, cupru, aluminiu, inox 314L și 316L de tip alimentar sau industrial), suprafețe cromate, cauciuc, teflon, silicon, lemn, ceramică, sticlă, precum și pe pavimente din beton, gresie, marmură, rășină, linoleum, covoare sau mochete.

Avantajele principale ale utilizării produsului Klinosept constau în spectrul său larg acțiune biocidă (fiind un dezinfectant de nivel mediu), capacitatea de a distruge tulpini rezistente și timpul extrem de scurt de acțiune, manifestat chiar și în condiții de murdărie. Formula sa profesională pe bază de etanol (85% v/v) se aplică direct ca atare (nediluată), se evaporă rapid fără să necesite clătire și nu lasă urme sau pete deoarece nu conține coloranți.
