MicroSnap E.coli is a rapid test for the detection and enumeration of Escherichia coli. The test uses a bioluminogenic reaction where enzymes produced by E. coli react with specific substrates to produce light. The amount of light generated is measured with the EnSure Touch luminometer. Results are obtained in less than 8 hours, depending on the required detection limits. Sporadic microorganisms can be detected within 8 hours, allowing results to be obtained within the same working day or shift.
