Which types of disinfectants are mandatory in an individual medical practice?

An individual medical practice needs approved disinfectants for three distinct areas: examination surfaces, instruments/medical devices and staff hands. Surfaces are usually treated with bactericidal, fungicidal and virucidal products — ready to use or concentrated. Instruments need a full-spectrum product, including mycobactericidal and sporicidal activity, applied by immersion. Klintensiv covers all three areas with products such as Sterisol (a high-level ready-to-use disinfectant for surfaces and instruments/medical devices), Deziamino (an intermediate-level concentrated disinfectant for surfaces/floors and instruments/medical devices), Dezicon (a high-level concentrated disinfectant for surfaces/floors and instruments/medical devices), Klintensiv Davera Soap (a hygienic disinfectant liquid soap for hands and skin), and Alchosept or Klintensiv Disinfectant Gel for hygienic and surgical disinfection of hands and skin.

How are hard-to-reach surfaces in a medical practice disinfected?

Hard-to-reach surfaces in an individual medical practice — such as ceiling areas, ducts or narrow spaces — are disinfected by airborne fogging, a method that disperses the biocide evenly throughout the room. Klintensiv offers Desogen Aero for this purpose. However, this procedure is not a daily routine between patients; it is applied periodically as terminal disinfection at the end of the week or month, or in special cases (after patients with a respiratory infection risk), while day-to-day activity still relies on manual cleaning and wiping.

How can I reduce the cost of floor disinfectants without lowering quality?

You can reduce the cost of floor disinfectants in a medical practice without compromising quality by using concentrated products with controlled dilution or effervescent solutions with a fixed dose. For mandatory routine daily cleaning, use concentrated liquid disinfectants such as Klintensiv Deziamino (intermediate-level disinfection) or Dezicon (high-level disinfection), while for periodic terminal disinfection at the end of the week or after accidental biological contamination, effervescent tablets give an exact dose per bucket of water, eliminating waste. Fizzy tablet, based on active chlorine, provides high-level floor disinfection with an optimal cost per litre of working solution.
